There's nothing better than fresh pineapple, and there's nothing worse than the mess you're left with afterwards! The Pineapple Corer & Slicer aims to solve that, by coring and slicing fresh pineapple in one smooth action. Just cut the top off a ripe fruit and insert the blade into the centre of the flesh. Turn the slicer clockwise and its serrated auger will do the rest. When the blade reaches the bottom, retract the corer and remove the handle. A continuous sprial of pineapple can then be pulled from the shaft ready for cutting into chunks and serving.
If you're careful about it, and you leave the base of the pinapple intact, you can remove the core from the remainder of the fruit to make a pineapple cup for serving your Pina Colada.
